Electric cars are better by Cassie Mazzant

Gas cars have been here for some time but then electric cars got invented. An electric car is a normal car just better for the environment, 20% of pollution is made by cars .Electric is making that 5%. Also it is mostly much cheaper than a gasoline car, it is half the price for the same distance. People should recognise how electric cars are better. 

Better for the Environment

Electric cars are way better for the environment than gas- powered cars.

For example an electric car does not produce that much greenhouse gases, and we can have much cleaner air to breathe. According to the website Drive Clean, “an electric car produces zero tailpipe emissions, dramatically lowering smog and greenhouse gas emissions even when considering electricity generation.” This means electric cars are fixing the earth dramatically. A few years from now all the air could be dirty, not with electric cars. This proves Electric cars are better for the environment than gas-powered cars.

Cheaper Than Gas

Electric cars are cheaper than gas powered cars. 

For example they cost more to buy but overall they are much cheaper than gas cars. 

According to the website Time for Kids, it said, “Some people think electric cars are pricey. But their prices are coming down. Some cost around $30,000. That’s cheaper than many gas-powered cars. Plus, the cost of gas can add a lot to the price of a regular car, and once you use the gas, it’s gone. They cost less money than gas powered cars.” This means that some people think they're pricey but they're not.  Also in the website, Drive Clean, It said, “Electric car charging in California costs roughly half the price of powering a standard 

gasoline car for driving the same distance.”. This means they are half the price for the same distance. These examples show how overall electric cars are cheaper than gas..

In conclusion, Electric cars are better than gasoline cars today. Electric cars are better because they are better for the environment, and are cheaper. Imagine a world where there are only electric cars- what would that be like? However some people believe that gas cars are better, but if you think about it there not. Many people don't notice but electric cars are a great invention that we should all appreciate.
